As per the information and details provided by you, to solve email missing problem from inbox, please follow these steps: -
Step 1: - Open Outlook 2013.
Step 2: - Locate the blue File option in the left corner of the screen.
Step 3: - Locate Account Settings, click and select Account Settings from the drop- down menu.
Step 4: - In the new window that appear, you will see your email address. Double click to open the settings for this profile.
Step 5: - Locate the slider for Mail to Keep Offline. Set the slider according to requirement.

Does this only happen to your Inbox folder? What type of email account are you using in Outlook?
